The website widget
Your website stops being a brochure.
Right now a visitor reads about you and leaves. With one line of code they price their own fence from your rates, and you get their name, their number and the job they want.
The estimator on our home page is the same one. That is the product, not a mock-up.

Three steps, and one of them is pasting.
- 1Once
Set your rates
The form prices from your price book, not from an average. Nine fence types and their gates come preloaded, so you are editing numbers rather than starting from an empty page.
- 2Two minutes
Paste one line
A single script tag, anywhere on your site. It works in WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or a hand-written HTML page, and it sizes itself to whatever space you give it.
- 3From then on
Answer the leads
Someone prices a fence at 9pm and you have their name, number and the job in your inbox. You call while they are still thinking about fences.
The whole installation
<script src="https://picketquote.com/widget.js" data-key="wk_live_your_key"></script>Your key is on the widget settings page once you sign up. The same page has a live preview and a copy button.
WordPress
Add a Custom HTML block and paste. If your theme strips scripts, WPCode works.
Wix
Add, then Embed Code, then Embed HTML, then Code. Paste and apply.
Squarespace
Add a Code block, paste, and turn Display Source off.
Any HTML site
Paste it where the form should appear and upload the file.
You decide how much price a stranger sees.
Some contractors want the number out there to filter the tyre kickers. Some would rather talk first. Both are one setting.
Show the exact price
The number your price book produces, to the cent.
Most leads, and they arrive knowing roughly what it costs.
Show a range
The same number bracketed by a percentage you choose.
Keeps room to confirm on site without hiding the ballpark.
Show no price
Collects the job details and their contact, and shows no number.
Fewer leads, warmer ones, and your pricing stays yours.
Whichever you pick, the lead still records what our engine calculated, so you always know what they were shown.
Yours to control
Your colours and logo
Two colour pickers and your logo. It reads as part of your site, not ours.
Only what you sell
Tick the fence types you actually install and the rest never appear.
What you ask for
Choose which details are required, and whether they can attach photos.
Where it may appear
List your domains, and the form refuses to run anywhere else.
Questions
Which website builders does it work on?
Anywhere you can paste HTML: WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, GoDaddy, Shopify, or a hand-built site. The admin screen has step-by-step instructions for the common ones, and a plain frame version for builders that block scripts.
Do my prices stay private?
That is your call. The form can show the exact price, a range you set the width of, or no price at all. In every mode you still get the lead, the job details, and what our engine calculated, so you know what they were quoted even when they do not.
Can I turn it off?
Yes, from one switch in settings. The form is replaced with a short message and stops taking leads until you switch it back on. You can also replace your key, which stops the old snippet working anywhere it has been pasted.
Can somebody put my form on their site?
Only if you let them. You can list the domains allowed to show it, and anywhere else gets a short notice instead of a working form.
Are the leads exportable?
Yes. Download them as a CSV that opens in Excel, send them anywhere with a signed webhook (Zapier and Make both catch these), or export your whole account as a zip. Nothing is locked in.
Will it slow my site down?
The form loads in its own frame after your page, so it cannot block anything. The script is about 6kb compressed, which is smaller than most logos.
How many people can use the account?
Up to five, each as an owner, an admin or a crew member. Crew can work leads, quotes and the calendar; billing and settings stay with the owner.
Do reviews go to Google?
Reviews come to you first, and you choose what to publish. After someone leaves one, they are shown your public review link whatever they rated you: sending only the happy ones is against Google's rules, so we do not do it.
